FASTING O' CLOCK

I hear a sound,

It's a very sharp sound

And also sounding funny

It is grunting like a pig that has not eaten

Can you hear it too?

Its is still sounding

And from the sound

It is evident that something needs to be done

Can you tell me where the sound is coming from?

I guess i am the only one that can hear it?

Could the sound be coming from my stomach?

Wanting to get some food or snack?

Where could the sound be coming from?

If it is my stomach,

Then the time to eat is not now

I hear another voice

I hope you can hear it this time

 Enticing like the smell of a Nigerian jollof rice

"Oh boy, grab this opportunity 

Steal some meat from the pot."

I heard the voice whispering to me.

I ignored but the voice spoke again

"Guy, see this fine babe

Be smart and collect her contact

I fit help you package her"

I almost fell for this one

But as a sharp guy

I dodged it.

But at the end, 

I did not fall for any of the voices 

Because I have a goal

Heaven is my goal

I ain't going to die if I keep my flesh under subjection
